Funny how in India…

Funny how in India just by a process of osmosis it seems my mind goes quiet and my attention turns towards Consciousness or Spirit or God or Truth or the Guru or whatever you want to call it. I've only been here 2 weeks this time and I'm feeling perfectly content and fulfilled sitting under a tree looking at the leaves. There's a whole universe right here. I know my body to be of the same nature as the trees and the dirt they grow from. I remember what drives the holy men of India to sit around on the ground doing nothing. It feels so good, such a relief, to give in to the organicness of the moment and stop playing the game of chase-the-illusion that seems to drive everyone in the West. The trees are God, my body is divine illusion, the dirt is the Divine Mother. Such a joy to go on giving my mind to the Guru as much as possible.

Odder still is that I feel I don't need to be here. Freedom and bliss.
